Luis Hernandez Home Page

    My name is Luis Hernandez, I'm 18 years old, I was born on the 4th of January in 1987. I'm a Senior at Decatur High School. My Graduation is fastly approaching and I will be out of school. But this coming fall I will be attending Western Michigan University. I chose Engineering Graphics and Design as my major.

            I am a big sports fanatic. My two favorite sports to watch are baseball and basketball. The Boston Red Sox (see below for their latest scores and stats)are my favorite baseball team. The San Antonio Spurs are my favorite basketball team. 

                 Some of the things that I like to do are to go to the movies, recently I saw "The Interpreter" it was an OK movie. I look forward going to the movies another day. I also like to play basketball, since I migrate to and from Texas, I play for The High Flyin' La Villa Mighty Cardinals. Our Varsity team has been to the playoffs in the last five years. Its a small school not as well spoken of like Decatur. 

                    There are many people who have talents. I have one talent that some people might find a little gross; I can touch my nose with my tongue. One thing that I've always wanted to learn to do is to juggle.

POEM OF LIFE
Life is but a stopping place,
A pause in what's to be,
A resting place along the road,
to sweet eternity.
We all have different journeys,
Different paths along the way,
We all were meant to learn some things,
but never meant to stay...

Our destination is a place,
Far greater than we know.
For some the journey's quicker,
For some the journey's slow.
And when the journey finally ends,
We'll claim a great reward,
And find an everlasting peace,
Together with the lord.
